In this video about Funded Profit, titled "I put FUNDED PROFIT on the spot... THIS HAPPENED" (originally in Spanish), creator Gabriel Parra puts tough questions to Funded Profit. It was published on July 8, 2026 and runs close to 50 minutes. Here's the full video and, below it, our straight answers to the questions traders ask most often about a prop firm, with the official data and links to each rule.
In short: Gabriel Parra published a video putting Funded Profit in front of demanding questions. After the video, we answer in our own words the most common trader concerns: what kind of accounts these are, which rules can close an account and how rewards are requested.
What the video covers
In this video, Gabriel Parra puts Funded Profit "on the spot" with demanding questions about the company. It's a long, direct format, made for anyone who wants to hear more than a prop firm's sales pitch.
The questions, comments and conclusions in the video belong to the creator. We won't summarize them here; we recommend watching it in full. What we do is answer, from Funded Profit's side, the tough questions every trader should ask a prop firm before starting.
"Are these real accounts?"
No, and we say it plainly: Funded Profit offers simulated trading accounts and an evaluation program. Traders operate in a simulated environment on cTrader and, by following their program's rules, receive rewards according to the agreed split. It isn't an investment or a deposit. If the concept is new to you, start with what a funded account is.
"What can make me lose the account?"
This is the most important question, and the answer is in the rules. An account closes if any of these limits is breached:
- Daily loss: 4% on the 1-Phase Challenge, 3% on Direct Access.
- Static maximum loss: 6% on the challenge, 5% on Direct Access. It's calculated from the starting balance and doesn't move with the balance.
- Inactivity: 30 days without trading.
There are also trading rules to respect at all times: maximum risk of 2.5% per trade, a 3-minute minimum trade duration and a maximum of 2 IPs. The full list is in the violations and prohibited practices sections.
"Are there hidden rules?"
Every rule is published on the site. The one that surprises people who don't know it is consistency: no single trading day can exceed 40% of total profit on accounts under $30K, or 30% from $30K up. Its purpose is to reward a steady process, not a single exceptional day.
Another detail to keep in mind is the schedule: the trading day runs from 20:00 to 20:00 (UTC-4). You can check your numbers with the consistency calculator.
"How and when are rewards paid?"
Here are the conditions, with no fine print:
| Item | Condition |
|---|---|
| Split | 80% (100% with add-on) |
| Frequency | Every 14 days (weekly with add-on) |
| Minimum per request | $50 |
| Payment method | Crypto |
You'll find the steps and requirements in the payouts section, and a broader explanation in how payouts work.
"Can I trade the news or hold trades over the weekend?"
Yes. At Funded Profit, trading during news and holding positions over the weekend is allowed. That doesn't mean it's always a good idea: volatility around news can bring you close to the daily limit quickly, so it's wise to adjust your position size.
